that is one of my all time favorite scenes from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure!
On the day my bride and I were married back in 1986, we had a few hours to kill between the wedding and the reception. The entire bridal party (18) had a suite at the local Hilton.
Of course we were drinking, having a good time and as someone turned on the TV, playing on HBO was "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" ... right on that scene.
We laughed hysterically and you just KNOW that we had the DJ play "Tequila" at the reception while we all danced like Pee Wee Herman.
Everyone at the reception (about 300 people) thought we were all completely insane, but we knew what we were doing. To this day when we see one of our friends from our wedding, we still joke about it.
Ahhh, good times.
