I live in Central Massachusetts. We live in a small town with no public transportation, but I know that there is a group of older people who are carted to our local grocery store on a small bus once a week. I'm not sure from which town in this area they are located, though.

I have a friend who believes that anyone over the age of 75 or so should lose his or her license, which has resulted in a number of animated discussions between us.

Most of the older drivers I know, and I know many, are self limiting.

I no longer drive after dark and also avoid interstates. My annual mileage is extremely low.
