You mean, I’m actually gonna have to get out and work at it? Campaign for my candidates, and when I don’t like any of them, run myself? I’ll have to start attending city council and county commission and school board meetings and making my voice heard?

Maybe even do my own “journalism” by reporting on the local political scene via the interweb thingy, instead of depending on the local Gannett or McClatchy rag to print the truth?

Well, it all depends on who’s on “Dancing with the Stars” tonight. Can’t miss that, ya know...

I think we’ve passed the tipping point, Ms. Bila, and our only hope is to let it burn.

Thank you.

I will not stand by and watch this great country destroy itself under mediocre leadership that drifts from one crisis to the next, eroding our national will and purpose. We have come together here because the American people deserve better from those to whom they entrust our nation's highest offices, and we stand united in our resolve to do something about it.

Good advice.

I can hardly wait for the usual brainwashed whiners from the surrender monkey parade to show up and tell us that all is lost.

The article is right. We must stop complaining and do something. The question is what? Whatever you are comfortable with. Write letters to papers, post on news sites other than Freerepublic, go to meetings, challenge liberal views, work for a candidate, and find ways to let people know Hollywood and the liberal media are not the majority. Posting here all is lost and just wait until TSHTF does no one any good. The liberals love to see the defeatist attitude it means they are winning.

I have spent the last 40 years fighting for what is right. I have dedicated myself to this once Great republic... I have seen little in the way of Victory. Reagan was the last great Victory of the Right. At least my two rino Senators voted against this amnesty crap. Don't worry... I'll keep fighting for Freedom and Liberty until I quit breathing... which if obama and the left have their way... will not be much longer. obamacare may just kill all of us.

In other words, let's stop complaining and start doing.

The left wins because too many on the right let it happen so they can stick their nose in the air and say "I told you so."

The left wins because too many on the right let the perfect become the enemy of the good (2012 primary when the not Romney fought each other).

The left wins because too many on the right don't pay attention to local elections.

The left wins because too many on the right are not involved in the Republican Party and participate in party leadership elections.

The left wins because too many on the right are lazy, whether it be from poor work ethic on politics, thinking they are above politics, or simply don't know how to fix things.
