It is amazing to me that RINO GOPers never learn. Every GOPer that goes soft on illegal immigration goes down in flames. What the heck is wrong with these people? Are they stupid or what? Bush1, Newt, Perry, Rubio and now Ryan? McCain survived but only by walking back as fast as he could.

"Amnesty would have been signed into law by now if Romney had been elected."

The only good thing about Romney was his position on amnesty. If he was telling the truth, he would not have signed off on this immigration bill.

That’s exactly their diabolical plan—get the House to pass an immigration bill that doesn’t sound too bad and then go with the Senate bill in reconciliation.

They’ve really got to be called on that early and loud so House Reps don’t have a deceptive fig leaf to hold in front of themselves.

Goodlatte, Johnson and Portman are against this.

Yet Cantor, Ryan and Boehner are for it.

These things are going to have unintended consequences for both parties.

Like, for Republicans, having their base abandon them.

The House shouldn’t even bring it up. Boehner should treat this bill like the Senate treated every budget the House ever sent the Senate - Roundfile.

Ryan’s going to sell on some shiny, new sh!t on how the border is going to be closed, etc. We’ll get security first.

Then the bills will go to conference, and the security will be left on the cutting room floor, and we’ll get hosed again.

Obama is going to be looked upon as one of the most successful Presidents in history when this is over.

If success is determined by a multi-polar, post American economic revolution type world, he will be a world hero for socialists everywhere.

Pretty soon they’ll be putting PAX in the air supply, and we’ll be too blissful to feed ourselves, or so aggressive we kill each other off.

Ryan WAS an up-and-comer, but he started pushing for amnesty, he’s just another RINO loser like McCain.

In my book Ryan was NEVER an up and comer...

Ryan voted for No Child Left Behind, ethanol subsidies, Medicare Part-D. And for laughs he proposed these insulting budgets that "balance" in ten years -- lol....

No true Conservative would have cast many of the votes Ryan has cast.

Ryan like most RINOs give lip service to Conservative principles.

I took a lot of heat for calling Ryan a fake Conservative in the 12 campaign.

True Conservatives should NEVER vote to increase the power of the State.

Gawd Almighty! The best thing to do is bring the Senate bill up and do an Up or Down, defeat it, and let it die.

Vote not to concur and send the Senate a clean border security bill, one with teeth.

Nothing less, and nothing more, will do.

Once they try to split the baby like this, it goes to conference with the Senate and comes back all f'ed up.

Somebody drive a stake through this crap, ASAP!

Ryan = House version of Rubio, coordinating through Boehner and McConnell, who both want amnesty.

With 10,000 baby boomers retiring from the workforce each day, “our economy is going to need more labor in the future,” he said.

So the argument now is that they've got to keep the Ponzi scheme going?

Great.

Yeah, not exactly...how about kill it and send nothing back.

The border fence is already funded and authorized. How about an action demanding construction resume...either through legislative or legal action.

What I don’t understand is how people forget about this, Paul Ryan has always been for a “pathway to citizenship,” according to him. So have McVain and Linda, and they keep getting re-elected.

I bet a year from now they’ll have found some issue to flog hard enough to be back in our good graces, and that’s what they are counting on.

“...we are changed forever.”

We’re almost second world now. Pass this turd and we’ll be a third-world country in twenty years.

Either way, it’s over, folks. The only thing let to do is whatever is necessary to resurrect our country, like the phoenix, rising from the ashes to live again.

How can Paul Ryan, who’s supposed to understand economics, proclaim that passing amnesty for illegals is ‘’an economic necessity’’?

Seventy percent of illegal immigrants reside in a very small number of states — Texas, California, New York, Florida, Illinois, and Arizona.

How does Paul Ryan explain the fact that Texas, which has a large number of immigrants, has a very successful economy, while California, which also has a large number of immigrants, has a very UNsuccessful economy and is practically going bankrupt?

Texas and Florida, with Republican governments and pro-business policies, will be successful, amnesty or not; while California, New York, and Illinois, with Democratic tax-and-spend, anti-business governments, will continue to decline into bankruptcy, like Detroit, no matter how many or few new citizens they take in — although the sudden new demographic pressures resulting from passage of the Immigration Bill will hasten their collapse.

The poor idiots who voted for Chuck Schumer will have to wait in increasingly longer lines for medical care, subways, and jobs if his Immigration Bill passes, but most of the rest of the country won’t feel too many ill effects.

Ryan still hasn’t gotten over Rimshot Joe Biden taking away his school milk money during the “debates”.

Yeah..I’m done voting for these people.

I am done with the GOP as well. For years, people have been telling us it will get better, the GOP just has to compromise on this or that, meanwhile our country is being sold down the river.

I'm sick and tired of the GOP compromising on the destruction of this country while the Democrats don't compromise on hardly anything.

There's a name for what the GOP has been putting us through - battered wife syndrome. Some of us will stick around for more beatings, I'm not. If the GOP won't respect my beliefs and if it wants to be an echo chamber for the Democrats, it won't get my votes or money.
