This should answer my dad’s questions about Hagel. Dad is up in years and still thinks that if bad stuff was happening FNC would report it, so he doesn’t believe the country is as bad off as it really is. He and Mom are dealing with enough hard stuff so it’s better if I don’t even go into it with them.
It invalidated DOMA. So if a gay couple got "married" in a state that allows for such, they get the bennies. But what about gays from states that do NOT recognize such unions?
Did I miss where the military legalized gay marriage everywhere?
Does the military perform such marriages?
In say, Afghanistan? Or Saudi Arabia?
I'm dizzy from trying to figure out just what Hagel is saying or implementing.
