BOL! Decades ago our sons were in middle school and both joined the soccer teams.
At that time about 98% of their teams were Gringo Wasps with basically zero skills in soccer. I think that between their two teams, their teams scored once in a season.
My wife and I were overjoyed when both sons decided not play soccer again. Watching the grass grow at the fields was more entertaining than the matches.
Our grand kids’s soccer games were fun to watch.
What a way to destroy the free press, though. Tax private news papers to oblivion.
