You know what I mean! Jeez, it’s not as if there were no Air Force until 1947. The Army Air Corps and later Army Air Forces did help bring those fascists to their knees.
But you are talking about the organization which did not exist then, it was under the offices of the Army.
Maybe it should be back under control of the Army. But of course they’re probably headed in the same direction.
