Experience teaches us that it is much easier to prevent an enemy from posting themselves than it is to dislodge them after they have got possession.

Thank you Norm, now we are getting somewhere. Washington was a military man, as am I. His quote makes perfect sense in a military context. You do not want your enemy to have time to prepare their defensive position. In 18th century parlance this meant time to throw up defensive works, to fortify strongpoints and to reinforce them with great guns. Far better to catch them in open formation, on an unprepared field and unable to thwart your advance. Good advice.

It has nothing to do with the choice of voting for an avowed Communist or a Republican who is calibrated with the left leaning electorate of a State like Massachusetts.

What else do you have in your quiver, Norm? Fire away.

Duck duck goose. He was the President. He made the quote. You make excuses. We all see it. You are pathetic.

Have fun making more excuses until you actually answer if he was right or wrong without pretending to be Bill Clinton and parsing his words.

I’ll check back later but I only expect more of the same.
