President Obama addressed the nation live from the University of Arizona where he was the keynote speaker at the “Together we Thrive” memorial service for the six who succumbed to Saturday’s deadly Arizona shooting. During his speech he gave encouraging news regarding Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords. Speaking at the podium President Obama stated, “Gabby opened her eyes for the first time. Gabby opened her eyes for the first time. Gabby opened her eyes.”
