Almost a year after the theater shootings in Aurora, Colo., and a half-year after the killings in Newtown, Conn., one of the things that hasn’t changed is Hollywood’s enchantment with the gun, at least when it comes to selling the big movies.

Hypocrites like Danny Glover make the loudest noise about guns yet make their living shooting people on the screen.
And from the NY Slimes too. Maybe, just maybe, Hollywood can no longer act with impunity.
Thank you for posting this article. Movie watchers in America have a choice of what films they see unlike some other countries around the world. They can choose to listen to the MPAA rating and not watch a movie with gun violence where present. You should also comment about this issue at www.pressthepresident.com.
