There is ample reason to believe the comparison between the immigration bill and ObamaCare. They are structured to destroy the two party system.

Columnist, author, scholar former Lt. Governor of NY, Betsy McCaughey Ross is Mark Levin's guest on June 20th radio program (ff 55:43 ). . . to hear Betsy reveal in less than four minutes, some disturbing details about the runaway immigration bill.

Betsy: "Well I'm so glad we can talk tonight because there are a lot of headlines about what is happening to these health insurance exchanges, Mark. But the fact is, most of the politicians are ignoring the monkey business that's going on. They're simply complaining that the insurance exchanges aren't up and running yet. The real problem is -

Levin: By the way, I'm glad, but you go ahead.

Betsy: It's true. I'm delighted that they're 85% unprepared for October 1st. But the real problem is, the cynical...and I'm saying this underscoring it...'cynical' exploitation of a worthy goal, helping the uninsured. The cynical exploitation of that worthy goal to build the democratic party enrollment and literally destroy a fair two party system.

Levin: Explain what's going on.

Betsy: O.k. The Obama administration granted $910million dollars to California State to build an insurance exchange. What did California do? First, they passed a law that the insurance exchange had to include voter registration. Then they passed a law saying that however they spent the 910 million dollars could be kept secret. Right? Then, they-

Levin: Wait a minute. Woah, woah, woah, who is spending the money secretly?

Betsy: The California State Insurance exchange.

Levin: What kind of government is that?

Betsy: Oh, yes. In fact, Congress has just called for an investigation because it's so shocking that the lawmakers in California were going to shield their misappropriations under secrecy. Then, they regranted much of the money to 47 organizations. 48, excuse me. Forty-eight organizations, only a handful of which are even related to health care. The AFofLCIO got a grant. The NAACP got a grant. The SEIU got a grant.

Levin: Oh my God.

Betsy: All of these groups got grants to do what was called

Levin: So, let me, yeah. ..

Betsy: Outreach

Levin: So, so, hold on now. Let me... just slow down. So, we have these typical democrat organizations, or democrat related organizations. This is now slush fund money. So, they take money for medical services , turn it into political slush fund money.

Betsy: Yes, they are being paid for what they claim is going door to door, canvassing, doing robocalls and phone banking to tell people about the opening of these health insurance exchanges next October.

Levin: And registering people to vote, I guess, at the same time .

Betsy: Of course. That's exactly it. Now, this template is being repeated in every state. It's actually embedded in the Obama health law. THey're not breaking the law. They're following the law. But here's what is most disturbing about this, Mark. It's that the same methodology is repeated in the immigration bill. Section 2106 of the immigration bill outsources to these same community organizations and unions. The important job of walking newcomers through the amnesty process, the provisional status process, then the naturalization process. It's these same community activists you will have to go to. Remember the days of old Boss Tweed or James Curley in Tamany Hall? If you were poor or you were a newcomer, you went to the local ward boss. That's where you got what you needed in exchange for a vote.

Levin: Oh yeah, of course.

Betsy: Well, this, the Obama administration is bringing back that kind of boss politics. Only instead of it being local, they are institutionalizing this corrupt style of politics on a national scale.

Levin: So, I want to slow you down, just so I can underscore this. So, massive amounts of money which are being pulled out of things like Medicare, being pulled out of the private sector for health care services and so forth...you've got a percentage of this money that is going into these democrat front groups - at the same time, registering people to vote - and also, it's now in the immigration bill - same thing. HOW CAN ANY REPUBLICAN VOTE FOR THIS CRAP?!

In yet another video, Eliseo Medina Speaks on Immigrants

So I think there’s two things that matter for the progressive community. Number one, if we are to expand this electorate to win, the progressive community needs to solidly be on the side of immigrants, that we’ll expand and solidify the progressive coalition for the future…

When you are in the middle of a fight for your life you will remember who was there with you. And immigrants count on progressives to be able to do that.

Number two. “We reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters”. Can you imagine if we have, even the same ratio, two out of three? If we have eight million new voters who care about …… and will be voting. We will be creating a governing coalition for the long term, not just for an election cycle…"

How many Congress critters are aware of the above? How many Congress critters CARE? ----hat tip AlwaysOnWatch2

Time to call EVERY Republican to tell them their party is TOAST if they pass this crap.

WE need to let them know that WE are DONE with their caving. They are no longer representing US.

We need to remind them that we’re done voting for the lesser of two evils - them.

This is a horrible piece of legislation and I just ask myself, why, why would even republicans support something so skewed toward foreign interest over that of the American citizen.

This infuriates me to no end that our own government created this who illegal alien problem to begin with and for decades the American taxpayer has ponied up the bill for all this. In 1986, congress pulled these same shenanigans, made all sorts of promises. They lied.

A few years ago, congress before an election promised to build seven hundred miles of fencing, afterward voted not to appropriate the funds.

Why are they doing this? Why are Americans so powerless to stop these people? What are we to do? We call and write and call and write...seems never ending with the calling and writing.

I'm sick of it. This is one big freakin circus.

I haven’t heard whether all the middle eastern students who overstayed their visas and are now illegal will get citizenship as well as those illegals from south of the border.
