But this is on an amendment, and not the bill itself. Give them more rope and they’ll hang themselves.
Have you called Portman’s office? I get the feeling they’re listening to the argument that Cleveland could easily descend into social chaos if there is even more competition for those lower skill and entry level jobs.
Any word on Coats of Indiana??
They’re testing the water to see how the Republicans are favoring this, because in all honesty, it’s going to be a close shave for the 60 vote cloture for the entire bill.
Remember when we all thought the gun bill would pass?
Wonderful. /s
You are dang right we are. Told his office, there are many of us who will not forget this and the TARP vote come next election. If he does he will be KBH Part II,
Corny is only conservative when he has an election coming up. Cruz has forced Corny to the right, though.
If the voters in SC re-elect Linda Gayham in 2016, I may look for another state. https://www.facebook.com/PrimaryLindsey
I’ve been calling all his offices today: Cleveland, Columbus, Cincy, Toledo, and DC. @4:30 D.C. said he was still accepting constituents input. That is fine as he should always receive our opinions, but by late afternoon, his mind should have already been made up and been able to tell the voters that he is voting “No”.
he wants the Republicans to believe and obey

After this debacle, there won’t be many Republicans left to obey. Who will vote for Republicans anymore?
Yes. I got a recording.
I get the feeling theyre listening to the argument that...
I don't know who he's listening to but it sure didn't seem to be anyone who called his office today.
There are already 12 Republicans whove voted yes.

Bound to be more. The desire for self destruction runs deep in the party.
Ah, so you got through. Good to know. I didn’t.
Thank God, I was getting very discouraged by his voting record so far.
The House ought to just pass this “Border Surge” amendment, bad as it is, and send it back to the Senate.
Then wait on further action until after that’s signed by Obama.
Thanks Christie Creme for Chiesa vote..he voted Aye
Totally ignorant republicans. Voting to destroy their own party in addition to the nation.
Toll free to both the Senate and the House
