Worse than absurd, it's TREASON.
U.S. Constitution, Article IV, Section 4:
"The United States shall guarantee to every state in the union a republican form of government,
AND SHALL PROTECT EACH OF THEM AGAINST INVASION."

It’s “We’ve got to pass it to see what’s in it” again. Or as my generation was taught “Buying a pig in a poke”.

RE :”
Legendary Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward criticized the Gang of Eight immigration bill process, and the new rush to pass the repackaged bill with the amendment.
Woodward added that when you pass complicated legislation and no one has really read the bill then the outcome is absurd. Example :Obama-care
Alternatively if time is left to read it it wont get passed, and NOT passing SOMETHING ANYTHING (that Obama will sign) is not defined as ‘governing’ by the elites and lib media.
To them the farm billing going down is a sign of disfunction. Tax, spend, borrow, regulate, take away, give,. that is ‘governing’

A few months of hearings are in order, as well.

I'm not really sure why we have to pay people to do this....When congresscritters push the voting button without reviewing the legislation, it should automatically trigger a recall election for their seat as part of Federal Law.

The bill gives Amnesty to 30 million illegals .tben those new citizens can bring in their extended family from the 3rd world( 50 million more immigrants).
They can use these new democrat voters to install a socialist state and so end freedom. And they do this on the 4th of July when freedom was born.
The Senators are trying to stick a knife into Americans on the 4th of July<

We need Bob Woodward to validate that this is insane? Any common, decent, law-abiding American knows that this is wrong and wholly unacceptable.
What I find discomforting is that somehow we seek succor from guys like Bob Woodward when we all know this is wrong.

Our idiots have fallen for the nutty line about “We’ve got to do something!!!”. That’s stupid.
OK, let’s shoot small innocent animals... I mean that’s ‘doing something’ right? And it makes as much sense as passing this bill.

Do we really need a "new" immigration bill or is it just an excuse to for billions in pork?
They keep saying immigration is broken.
The administration is the one breaking it. Their catch and release policy, selective enforcement, prosecutorial discretion, and whatever other legalistic sounding abuses of power they can come up with are the reason for the illegal immigration mess. It is Washington's (intentional) policy not to enforce the existing laws.
The public is being manipulated in order to fleece the taxpayer. That is the real industry in Washington.

Once again the 0bama regime and the dims want to rush through a bill without reading it, and apparently the public will let them get away with it. They learned nothing from 0bamascare!
You have to ask yourself, "why the rush?" unless it contains something that would stop it dead in it's tracks.
It's past time to get out the pitchforks and the guillotines!

"Legendary Washington Post journalist" Bob Woodward is certainly a johnny-come-lately when it comes to corruption.
Yeah. I know. He exposed Nixon's. But that must have scratched whatever itch corruption was giving him, because he slept through far worse corruption and downright criminal activity by subsequent U.S. Presidents--without even the itch to expose them.
Now he seems to have awakened to the shock that Congress is passing sweeping legislation it has not even read! and--possibly--to the realization that corruption far worse than anything Nixon ever even considered is rampant in Washington.
Who knows? Woodward might even awaken to the realization that U.S. "journalism" and "journalists" are more dishonest and corrupt than Woodward considered Nixon to be!
But the only thing "legendary" about Woodward is a possible resemblance to Rip Van Winkel.
