Do we have any other star chamber courts like this in America?

Bates, a former prosecutor and Bush-appointed judge in the D.C. district court, rebuffed several questions about the courts orders, telling senators they should address their questions to executive branch officials, according to people briefed on the session. He stressed that the governments collection and surveillance programs were classified as top-secret by the Obama administration, not by the judiciary. Useless "oversight." Defund it and be done with it.
