As soon as amnesty is passed, the Dems will then push for coverage under Obamacare for those receiving amnesty. They will cite the issue of jobs, i.e., those receiving amnesty will have an advantage over Americans because employers will not be penalized for hiring them, and that we need to provide some way for the 11 million, most of them making very low wages, to obtain health care coverage. An estimated 7 million are already working now. And it is not the illegals that I am worried about, but the tens of millions of LEGAL IMMIGRANTS and guest workers who will be competing against Americans for jobs. Even the CBO estimates that this influx will increase unemployment and depress wages for the next 12 years.
