Nothing like taking action on a problem that scientifically has not been proven to exist. The temperature on the earth has risen 0.7 degrees since about 1900. In the last 16 years it has not changed at all. No one can explain any of this beyond theories and conjectures.
I just wonder how many trillions of dollars we’re willing to spend as a nation to have no measureable effect on the climate
“I just wonder how many trillions of dollars were willing to spend as a nation to have no measurable effect on the climate?”
IF everyone knew with reasonable certainty that actions proposed to “combat” climate change would have no measurable effect, then the vast majority would overwhelmingly reject such proposed actions and not want a dime spent on them.
Therein lies the problem. Relative to this particular issue, there are three camps:
1. The Common-Sense Realists
2. The Elitists/Alarmists and
3. The Useful Idiots/Gullibles.
There are too many in the 3rd category (most of whom are also called Low-Information voters) at this time who are ignorantly willing to empower political decision-makers who want to use this issue ultimately for power and control.
Unless and until the numbers of The Gullibles are reduced appreciably, we will continue to see Billions/Trillions thrown at this so-called problem.
