The article mentions that they also did this to then senator-elect obama in 2004. I cannot help but wonder why, did they track his terrorist ties. It would explain Dick Cheney look he made during the inauguration.

“I support locking up anybody who authorized it at any level.”

You might want to rethink that.

The summer of 2004 was when the left in this country were collaborating with the Iraqi insurgents and American troops were getting killed.

It’s also when Nick Berg got his head cut off making a commercial for the dems to use against Bush in the 2004 election.

I’m sure Obama is very useful to them but that doesn’t mean he has control of them. He isn’t that smart or powerful. He’s just greedy and narcissistic which makes him easy to control.

I don't believe Obama spends enough time in Washington to know much of anything...I have little doubt that Obama takes orders from someone...And that someone tells Obama to get out of town on his many vacations so they can do whatever it is they are doing in Washington...

Sad and pathetic. May our illustrious leaders reap what they sow.

Bush led America to the steps, and Obama is the hangman.

If you think about it, you'll see that is good politician/bad politician strategy they've used since Reagan to advance their progressive take down of the Republic.

The good politicians give us a good intentioned alphabet agency with all sorts of regulatory power, and no voter input needed or wanted.

Then, the bad politicians get into office and use and abuse that new alphabet's power in all sorts of progressively bad ways against US.

Naturally, this eventually means all sorts of new problems requiring more new, good intentioned alphabet agencies.

Rinse and repeat the cycle until the Constitution has been progressively laundered into oblivion.

Since Coolidge, only Reagan has broken their chain and disassembled the Beast. The Bush family, Clinton and now obama quickly made short work of the Reagan revolution. Gingrich was right about that much.

Trying to get Obama off the hook. If you think spying on Americans wasn’t happening under Clinton, you’d be wrong, too! It’s been going on for years. Not saying that people within the agency are guilty of anything specifically, but we’ve had a lot of unprincipled people in these places for decades. DECADES! Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, and on it goes. But it is so over-the-top now that it is mind-boggling. And, instead of saying (arguing) that everybody has been doing it, we, the people need to say that enough is enough. We need to insist that this stuff is not kept for years or decades, that it should be more specific and warranted...not everybody, and should be related only to national security, that NOTHING can be used for ANY OTHER REASON! Penalty of law if broken. We need to start contacting our elected officials and let them know that the government has far over-reached its powers and it is time to rein it in or we will do it for them.
