We are reporting out a story on the Insider Threat Program that has been under implementation since 2011, and have the following questions. We'd appreciate a response by the late Thursday afternoon.

1. Some current and former U.S. officials are concerned about the increased reliance on employees to monitor their co-workers' behaviors as a means of detecting insider threats. What precautions are being taken to ensure that this doesn't result in false or unsubstantiated reports?

With each new revelation I increasingly am becoming more afraid of my own government. It’s getting really, really creepy the extent to which it is gathering intelligence illegally and targeting its political enemies or even just those good citizens who want to expose the corruption behind the machine.

“Whistleblower” is a term they wish to scrub from society (and the history books).

The administration and its supporters think the power stops with their big government and isn’t “of, by and for the people.”

Their perceptions and actions need to change, but most of our CongressCritters and compromised judges are too afraid of losing their pensions, jobs or seeing their secrets exposed to complain.
