Are there any shows on TV these days that show families attending church or praying? I don’t watch regular shows so I don’t know, but my guess is no.

Brainwashing, pure and simple. Nobody can have “two moms”. This is one of the most insane concepts in human history.

Yeah, I love DD, but it only shows them praying at the end of the show. Millions of Americans attend church every week but you wouldn’t know it from watching TV shows. But taking God’s name is vain is okay.

We don't see much broadcast television. We saw a couple of episodes of "Duck Dynasty" on vacation. (It was rainy.) Cute, especially when you have redneck relatives. (We're not rednecks ourselves, of course!)

People don't watch TV in order to see people like themselves.

Which makes me wonder - why do people watch TV?

When the kid arrives, the Duncans learn that Charlie's pal has two moms. That's fine, but the potential new friendship is put to the test...That's NOT fine.

I watch TV because....during college football season....it is hard for me to physically go to the 15 games per week I want to see...TV takes care of that

As soon as I found MeTV and AntennaTV, I knew I’d never need cable again. My younger nieces really like the old Monkees episodes, and the older kids are really liking the original Twilight Zone series.

and they all seem to have the same formula...kids are smarter than parents, ignorance is funny, mom is smarter than dad, dad is a bumbling oaf that can’t do anything right.
A far cry from “Father Knows Best” days.

But I mean regular TV shows. Not sports or news.
To: Pinkbell
Where are the fathers? the heads of the households? the MEN of this country?...saying “Not in this house! The law says you can perform your unspeakable acts, and even broadcast them over the airwaves and in your parades. But your depraved, perverse wickedness will not cross this threshold to invade my home - not while I’m alive!”
Are American men impotent to defend our homes?

While I agree with your logic, kids literally hate it when adults do this. It takes all the fun out of watching and they kind of resent it.

Just the name of the show causes me concern.
