Here are the details, for those who tweet....
At 2 p.m. eastern time, NumbersUSA will join other organizations in a Stop Amnesty "Tweet Up." The goal of the Tweet Up is to get the hashtag #StopAmnesty trending and to overwhelm Senators' twitter accounts with tweets detailing the flaws of the amnesty bill.
We ask that at 2 p.m. Eastern time/ 1 p.m. Central time/ noon Mountain time/ 11 a.m. Pacific time, you use the hashtag #StopAmnesty and tweet messages to your Senator. We also ask that you stay engaged on Twitter and promote the message as much as you can.
Tweet yourself, retweet others, reply to naysayers, etc. - just make sure you are using #StopAmnesty
Please keep an eye on these twitter pages belonging to other groups who will be participating. Experts from Center for Immigration Studies, Eagle Forum, Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), Heritage Action, Heritage Foundation, ProEnglish, and Americans4Work will be tweeting about the bill.

The main points we hope you push in your tweets are these:
The CBO report finds that S 744 will decline wages of legal workers for 12 years and will increase unemployment for 6 years while only stopping 25% of illegal immigration.
The bill will bring millions of new workers, with every skill level, at a time when 20 million Americans cannot find a full time job. There is no labor shortage.
This bill was written by special interests who want cheap labor and do not care about the welfare of immigrants.
The bill will weaken current law. It fails to build a border fence and implement an entry/exit system - both of which have already been mandated by Congress.
Law enforcement is overwhelmingly against the bill including the President of the ICE workers union.
No matter what amendments may be agreed to today, the bill is still amnesty first and enforcement later, maybe. Members of the Gang of 8 have admitted this and refuse to tie border security to amnesty.
The American people disagree with that sequence. They want enforcement FIRST.
Thanks for the info.
