The dems told Reagan in 1986 that border security would happen if Reagan approved amnesty. Reagan went along with amnesty for 3 million illegals, but border security didn’t happen.

The dems told George H. Bush that spending cuts would happen if he broke his pledge to not raise taxes.
George H. raised taxes, but the dems never cut spending.

The border fence must be first. If not we'll have illegals flooding our country like never before since they know the border will be more secure and they'll lose out on gaining citizenship.
