Actually it cut food stamps significantly which is why the Dems voted against. Interesting day when the left and the tea party agree on something. This bill was an abomination.

Looking at Pergram's reporting, it looks like Boehner thought that he had a deal with the Rats but then they reneged on it during voting. He stalked off to his office mad.
Hopefully, he will learn his lesson here, but I doubt it.
