The family of slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin has "every confidence" that a jury will convict George Zimmerman, the former neighborhood watch captain accused in his shooting death, a family attorney said.
Martin's family, including his mother Sybrina Fulton and father Tracy Martin, have attended jury selection proceedings in the Seminole County criminal courthouse since they launched more than a week ago. Attorneys in the case have been whittling down a pool of potential jurors, questioning them on their exposure to news reports in the high-profile case.

Answers from potential jurors have varied widely, from candidates who said they believe Zimmerman was following Martin that evening and confronted the teen to potential jurors who said they have no knowledge of what may have happened.
One potential juror said Martin was "looking for a reason to fight" and "got aggressive."
"[Zimmerman] is just watching out for someone who looks suspicious and this boy is confronted, and he already has drugs in his system or could have been high even then, and he got aggressive," said the candidate, identified as E-81.
The juror said she came to her conclusions based on photos and text messages from Martin's phone, released publicly, that the defense hopes to introduce as evidence as trial.
The photos depict Martin blowing smoke and a hand holding a gun, and the text messages refer to Martin's alleged past fighting. A judge has ruled that while the potential evidence can't be referenced during opening statements, the defense may be able to introduce it at trial if they prove to her its relevance.
"I think it's been a tough week for them - you're hearing people totally mis-characterizing your son, and to sit there and not be able to speak for your child is tough,"(continued)

BTW - what a shock to find out Trayvon’s father was a gang member. The media depicted him as a church going solid citizen. LOL
Yes, the State and its media propaganda machine has declared him guilty from the start and the Obama machine will pull out all the stops including its total surveillance apparatus to make sure there is a conviction. All the jurors will know that a vote to acquit will end their own lives in any normal way. They will have to weigh any not guilty votes with the certainty that they will be hunted and harassed for their rest of their lives.
He was “convicted” the day it happened.
I read somewhere that the Martin family recently got a juicy payout from the Homeowners Association’s insurance company to the tune of $1 Million, it appears they just handed them the money to shut up and go away and keep it out of court.
This prosecution is an uphill battle at best for the for the state. THAT IS WHY HE WAS NOT ARRESTED UNTIL THE BIGOT BOYS JESSE, AL, AND HIS FELLOW BASTARD ‘Adopted” FATHER OBUMBLER POPPED OFF AND SABER RATTLED!
He walks, he should also then sue the state for malicious prosecution., include Obama as a defendant!

The “judge” in the case apparently won’t allow any evidence into the court regarding the character of George’s attacker.
St. Skittles of Sanford was indeed a punk, but no one in the jury can officially hear about that truth.

Wait a minute — I thought all they wanted was an “arrest”.
Oh yeh — then all they wanted was an “investigation”.
And then all they wanted was a “trial”.

Have they decided what they want after that??? lethal injection or the noose — or just some more HOA lawsuit money — or all of the above???.
It’s Bravado... How many times have we heard similar sentiments over the years only to see the ones saying it lose.
If there is still a shred of trust in the justice system in the United States, credence will be given to the original Police Report that said Zimmerman’s claim of self-defense was consistent with all forensics evidence they encountered at the scene. I’m not certain political intervention has changed those facts the trained forensics police team found. Surely one of the jurors will be convinced the police, who are automatically suspicious of citizens patrolling the hoods, believe what they found was the truth.
The fix is in.
I object to the media’s infantilizing and “pro-racist” use of the name “Trayvon” at every opportunity. Normally, they would call another male by his last name, “Martin”, just as they call the defendant “Zimmerman”, not “George.”
