But note that your "if" is rapidly becoming "common knowledge" here on FR. The actual facts of the NSA matter are slipping through our fingers. Speculation is becoming "truth".
My point is that your "imagine if" will mostly be accepted as an "of course" - at least among the most vocal here on FR.
