SAN ANTONIO - A 52-year-old man says two men approached and threatened him before he fired several gun shots.
According to police, the man and his girlfriend got into an argument at the man's home on Dullnig Court around 11:45 p.m. Sunday. Neighbors say when the girlfriend left and returned with her two sons, things got out of hand.
"It's reported that they started smashing his vehicle with 2x4's," said San Antonio Police Spokesperson Sgt. Javier Salazar.
Police say after smashing the windows, the two brothers threatened the boyfriend. That's when multiple shots were fired. The medical examiner's office confirmed 28-year-old Manuel Cantu died at the scene, and his brother's name has not been released.
The boyfriend is not facing any charges at this time.
Police say if you have information about what happened, please contact the Homicide Unit at 210-207-7635.
Yep.
My guess is that this relationship is now over!
Just another San Antonio weekend. Booze and Mexicans don’t mix.
Of course, being a good friend and custodian I feel I should take them to the range once in a while and ensure their proper operation, clean & lube them, etc. You know, I wouldn't want them to get jealous when they see my firearms going out to play. So, being a decent guy I think it is incumbent upon me to take them along... ;-)
I live in Memphis, Tn.............
and of course you use his ammo since you want to maintain operational integrity...
Prayers up for your friend and his wife to heal their marriage. Especially hope so if they have children.
Of course. It wouldn't do to say "Hey, your Glock is running fine..." on my stuff, only for him to find out that on what he's purchased the mags have feed issues or some such. ;-)
Actually that's not far from the truth. I've never had a feed issue with genuine Glock mags. However, I got some cheap KCI mags and they work fine with decent brass-cased ammo. But, FYI for any Glock owners out there combine KCI mags and cheap Tul-Ammo and you can't even load them full (the follower binds), let alone get through an entire mag without a feed problem. Sorry I ever bought them. They are range-only, self-defense and carry loads go in the real deal.
