More than once recently I have heard the apparently new
phrase: “Pre-Certified Americans.” (no kidding!)
It is good to be almost certified.
It is good to be American.
Therefore, it is better to be a Pre-Certified American
than to be an undocumented anything.
May God save the English language from such torture!
I think the one that the elite car dealers use fits well also:
"Certified Pre-owned."
