America is not assimilating “Hispanics”, they are assimilating America. All you have to do is look around, they denigrate every aspect of American life, turning neighborhoods into Tijuana as fast as possible. Learn English? hell no! we are supposed to learn to speak Spanish! This is the major problem, they don’t want to be Americans (after all we stole Aztlan from them) they just want everything they can suck out of America!

Illegals are the issue, not Hispanic immigration, nor Hispanic cultures. It’s been my lifelong observation that by the 2nd and 3rd generations, Mexicans or Costa Ricans or whover are Americanized to the extent that Europeans were Americanized during the waves of immigration at the turn of the 20th century. We still have “Little Italy’s”, Jewish neighborhoods, and Chinatowns and we’ll have ‘Little Mexico’s”. That part is ok, it’s our American heritage.
In point of fact, “Hispanics” have always been part of Southern and Western American culture. New Orleans was once a spanish city, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and California.
That said, we must put 100% stop to illegals, make them apply like everyone else (i.e. enforce our laws). No general amnesty. English and naturalization is a requirement. We should expect that out of everyone who wants to come here.
Oath of Citizenship:

It is the American government that is the villan here.
