Can someone please explain to me why having 70 Republicans from the house who object to this bill go out and meet the press, is a good idea?
That makes it look like 164 Republicans are ambiguous about the bill.
It only takes 17 Republicans to peel off and vote with the Democrats to pass this bill.
It makes Bonehead look bad and untrustworthy which s good.
It made you and I aware of Bonehead and Ryan’s usual K street games .
They wanted to rile up the GOP base which they did !
Bonehead is running scared now .
They will be there for any immigration bill that comes out of reconciliation for sure.
If Boehner brings any bill to the floor, the Republic is over. Being old and in bad health is starting to look like an advantage.
No information yet on how many of those 70 even showed up.
