Jesse Daniels, 53, is accused of endangering the welfare of children for the actions he took after catching four boys in the act of vandalizing his father-in-laws home over the weekend. With extensive damage done to the inside of the house, Daniels and his wife called 911 and he went inside of the residence to confront the boys.
But thats not all: Daniels put the kids inside of a closet while he waited for authorities to arrive. It was this latter action that created an even bigger legal conundrum.
The vandalism unfolded in Clyde, New York, a small town between between Rochester and Syracuse. Daniels lives next door to the home his father-in-laws residence that is under continued renovation and when he heard noises and saw the lights on, he knew something was wrong. The local man could face up to one year in county jail for each offense, meaning that a total of four years of detention, pending Daniels receives the max penalty, could be his ultimate ramification.

Wrong move. First you kill them, then you cut the bodies up into small pieces and distribute them throughout at least ten states. Then shut the hell up.
If I had been caught doing anything like this, I would have been beaten to within an inch of my life.
Insanity rules in America today.
Shut up and shovel up, the unintended consequences of criminalizing responsibility.....
He should have carried a gun, and claimed to be threatened by the hammers . . . and 4 punks, Dead Right There. . .
On the other hand, this is New York: they’d give him the chair for it.
Sounds like a perfect opportunity to do what farmers do when they discover “endangered” species. . . . shoot and shovel. . .
The little creeps parents are on the offensive so they don’t have to pay for the damage their criminal progeny created.
Filing charges against the parents for crimiinal neglect and suing them for damages both against the property and against himself for false criminal charges are just starters. He needs to make these parents’ lives a legal hell.
I can’t believe that this guy is in trouble for detaining criminals until police arrive to deal with it. So, are the perps in any trouble with the law at all???
unbelievable, how things like this nappen. They defy all common sense. I can’t imagine this happening years ago. The world has changed for the worse in many ways.
This country is getting real oppressive. Now you can be treated like a criminal when you try to do something right. I would be writing Wayne County District Attorney Richard Healy and give him a reality moment.
Not only that but if the little darlings had hurt themselves while vandalising the place they could have sued the homeowner for that too....
Oh how I would love to be on the jury.....
This guy deserves a parade and the punks should be made to not only clean up the place but to restore it to the way it was before they caused the $50k in damage and their parents should be made to cough up the $50k. Those punks would think twice before vandalizing another place.
When the gimmedats and EBT zombies come to take what the government isn’t stealing for them any longer,
expect the government to defend them against you.
lil Trayvons?
He’s lucky he doesn’t live in the UK! He’d get life without parole.
Otherwise known as, “SSS”.
