More than any other city, the people of Chicago helped to get Obamacare passed. Chicago is where Obama chose to live. The people there launched his political career and voted him into office.
Here is Obama with his repeated promises that if people liked their health care plans, they could keep those plans:

And they get to meet the smiling bureaucrat to sign them up for it, and help fill out all those forms. I hope his name is Ben, Ben Dover....

When the plague finally leaves office, he is NOT going back to Chicagostan. He is going back to Hawaii and live like the King he thinks he is now. Poetic justice to a cesspoll who foisted upon us this creature.

start reducing health insurance coverage next year for more than 30,000 retired city workers and begin shifting them to President Barack Obama's new federal system. Must be a real bitch to get ska-rood out of your own double standard, huh?

Riot, you union trough-sloppers! Riot!
Why not? Most of ‘em are probably only forty or so. They are in plenty good enough shape for a 45th Anniversary reprise of the 1968 Democratic National Convention.
It’ll be a fairer fight this time around, since half the RIOTERS will probably be retired nasty Chicago cops. :-)

This uncertainty will cause anxiety and fear for tens of thousands of seniors who gave their working lives to public service men and women whose retirement savings are already under attack in the name of ‘pension reform.’” Bayer said.” Back in 2010 I bet they supported Obama-care passage assuming that it would only hurt others.

This should ignite a class action lawsuit against the city of Chicago on behalf of all other tax paying Americans. We are being stuck with the tab for health care that we had no part of negotiating. In addition, we received no benefits from the workers involved. No representation. No benefits. Only the tab. This will not fly. Chicago must face its own problems without expecting the rest of America to pay its bills.
