Palin Slams Gang of Eight, Warns of ‘Perhaps Armed IRS Agents’ Implementing Obamacare
The National Review's The Corner ^ | June 15, 2013 | Katrina Trinko

Sarah Palin pushed back against Jeb Bush’s argument that decreased fertility rates in the United States meant that immigration reform was necessary.

“I say this as someone who’s kind of fertile herself,” the mother of five told attendees at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Conference today. “I don’t think that’s where we want to go in deciding how will we incentivize the hard-working responsible families who want to . . . follow the law and become Americans versus those whose very first act on our soil is to break the law. “

During his speech at the same event on Friday, Bush had said that “immigrants are more fertile,” and noted that the United States was not replacing its population quickly enough.

Palin also derided the Gang of Eight’s proposal. “Let’s not kid ourselves in believing that we can rebuild our majority, by the way,” she urged, “by passing a pandering, rewarding-the-rule-breakers, still-no-border-security, special-interests-ridden amnesty bill.”

Palin harshly criticized the government over the slew of recent scandals, saying that “in Benghazi, the government lied and Americans died.” She also warned about how the Obamacare implementation would necessitate swelling the IRS’s ranks, saying the government would be “hiring up to 16,000 to 20,000 perhaps-armed IRS agents to implement this act.”(continued)

The reason elites want poor Mexicans is they’re looking for cheap gardeners, cooks, maids, and home health care workers.

In short, Liberal Elites want a cheap servant class. That’s NOT what the American people are looking for in new neighbors or citizens.

I SICK to death of puffed up elites - the RINO ones and the DEM ones... Let them hire Americans for servants... to hell with them choosing our neighbors and fellow citizens for us..

Yeah, John McCain - I’m talking to YOU. How many servants do you and John Kerry have running your estates?

We need election reform first, so as to count the votes accurately.

We need an attroney general that will see that this is done in each state, and in the national sphere.

We need a candidate who will root out corruption from both sides of the aisle.

We need a large cadre of supporters who will help the candidate lead us against the corrupt.

We need to return to a fiscally sound budgeting process.

We need to eliminate unneeded fiefdoms of education, energy and the like.

We need to terminate the czars.

We need to impose term limits.

We need to reform the educational system to teach people about their freedoms, and what it means.

We need to create jobs, so that people have a stake in the outcome.

We need to find God again.

We need to base our actions like drug approvals and climate issues on the “scientific method” again, snstead of by consensus.

These things will not happen in my lifetime, but I will work for them.

Sarah's been reading FR again. LOL. Good on her.

I voted for Romney because his was the only name on the ballot that had a prayer in defeating Nobama. The primary system in this country is more of a joke than voting in Russia. By the time we get to vote in Texas all the better candidates are GOP’ed out by the purple states who get to vote first. It is a broken system and until rectified we will always get a loser on the ticket.

I agree with you, whole-heartedly. In Minnesota, we never have a selection or a chance to vote for the person.

If we all voted at the same time, our votes would all count.

If we only allowed closed primaries, then we would not have the cross-contamination that allows the Lindsey Grahams of the world to be re-elected “comfortably.”

We need to reform the election system, tighten the controls so our votes are not diluted, and then have some serious primary challenges.

The votes need to be verifiable, countable, re-countable, and saveable in a form that all people could see and evaluate.

So the solution is to stop playing the game. Broken systems will never be fixed when it benefits the two parties. And people still keep the brokenness going. Force the change.

Oh they will, just like there are some on FR who say she is not pro-life.
Apparently there are those on FR who can also not tell the difference between Tena Fey and Gov Palin.

Personally I think Limbaugh says the Republican Party can be reformed because that is his hope.
I thought that a while back, I no longer think that, as apparently you do not as well.
Limbaugh will change his tune, my hope not when its to late.

Can you lay out ways to do it? I have written letters until my hands hurt, I have cauliflower ear from calling legislators and executive houses, I have voted in every election I can since I became of age over 40 years ago and still no change.

I have heard the same grumblings before and they quickly get trampled by the “first” states whining about tradition and their rights yada yada.

Where pray tell can we get it done? I just cannot see it unless the people in the “first” states initiate it.

Start with the basic political unit - and if you are a caucus or primary state, try to get your state rules changed. If they are set by statute, try to change the law to permit a common election date.

All politics is local.

The reality is that there is no magic bullet. Writing to the very people that are the root of the problem is a total waste of time. They do not listen. We have to accept that. Write if it makes you (anyone) feel good. But thats all it will do.

Anyone think McCain/Bhoner et all care?

I thought not. So don’t waste your effort.

Instead, learn what people/potential candidates really stand for and help them in whatever way you can. Work to get them elected. IGNORE the screaming about evil purists, evil principles and evil third parties.

STAND on toyr principles. STAND on whatever you believe in. And DO NOT let some GOP ass smooching sycophant dissuade you from what you know is right.

On your other post yesterday, you detailed your service. You did not serve to wreck america. Why allow pols to waste the part of your life you gave America? Why let them continue to make your sacrifice a moot point?

And that goes for us all. If you WANT something, then damnit go and make it the hell happen. FR is filled with smart people. You already KNOW what to do. You all, WE all just have to let go of the fear and do it.

The founders did it with their lives to lose. All we gotta do is vote right. And ‘be’ right. Not a compromising Dem lite with an R attached.

I can tell you without reservation from my years in motojournalism, famous people read their press. All the time. And as Palin is both familiar/friends with JR and FR was once her base, you bet your butt she does.

To clarify (no not an Obama clarify ;)

When the apecial interest groups set out to get their respective poop pooped, they do not write sternly worded letters to the Dems, the GOP or the Un.

YOU and I and all Freepdom are a special interest now. We are people without a party and with a cause. Just like the JKLMNOP street spec/in groups. PERIOD.

We get nothing because A: they have no fear of us because...
B; we are disorganized and they damn well intend to keep us that way.

So to WIN!!! you get organized. This ain’t rovket surgery folks. We have 8000 groups all fighting for their pie. We need one uniting banner they can all get behind. One principle. Just as TEA did. Just as every spec/in does.

That is a return to constitutional governance WITHOUT GOP flacks running the show. OUR show.

TEA took on the GOP people to run many of them and the ones that did now sit at the GOP table. Or their paid managers do. They get squat, but they ‘feel’ important.

Step one, get people to agree what they do and do not believe. Then go from there. That’s the core. Because we cannot rely on psuedocons who will at the first sine of heat, run back to mama GOP crying.

Now either she and us is on the same wavelength or she may FReep here too....

If I could get my hands on some NSA I.P. records......

Either way GO SARAH!

I doubt she posts even anon for the reason you stated. The NSA WOULD sus it out and hand it to the Dems on a platter.
