Who cares about the republican party? I would abandon it in a second if they chose another RINO (e.g., Christie). Why are so many supporting something that will eliminate our country?

I've heard them say they get embarrassed going to Republican conventions with the pro-life crowd that's also there. My first experience of that was in Houston in 1992. The pro-life contingent there was huge, and I remember the way I was treated by that group, making other Republicans nervous. The bottom line is that the Republican Party is embarrassed by its own base. The Republican Party is ashamed of its base. This is who the Republican party is today. They've hated us since the days of Reagan. We are an embarrassment to them.

(I'm a christian, pro-life, pro-gun, Reaganite. The GOP hates me. Why should I vote for them?)

Jeb Bush is getting the heavy push from GOPe - I'm sure Tokyo Rove is foaming at the mouth. While, in GOPe fashion, they would select a seemingly more Conservative running mate for the bottom of the ticket (and then muzzle them - ie Palin on the McCain ticket), this would leave ole' fatboy Christie out of a gig. Although, I could see Christie running (well, rolling) on the lower end of a Hillary Clinton ticket in a "Look at how bi-partisan we are" move from the Clinton camp. While we all know Christie is a RINO POS, the MSM and low info voters would become teary eyed over the brilliance that is the "Clinton Magic".
