One of the main reason Obama Syria problem is a "mess" is because he MUST figure in what Putin will do...in response to what Obama does to help the AQ.. err, I mean "rebels"
Putin is not a spineless gutless GOP congress critter nor is he a senile old coot like McCain Obama deals with everyday...
I seriously doubt Obama wants to get in pissing contest with the former head of the KGB...
Unfortunately for us... Obama has no one in his administration but lackeys, political hacks and yes men with virtually no experience in dealing with international relationships...
Maybe Obama should call on Condi Rice...

You also inserted irrelevant statement about cleansing of Christians. That is not an objective. Name ONE conflict where obama has supported the christian side, or the least radical muslim side.
Elimination of all Christians and Jews IS the de facto ultimate goal of this administration.
I dare you to find one data point in their actions that argues against it.

Should be an easy call for Obama - the Syrian rebels HATE the United States and will help wipe us off the map, once they’re strong enough. So let’s arm them!

What mess?
The result is a larger threat to Israel....which is exactly what Obama wants!

Obama's Syria Policy a Mess You know, I posted this exact same thing almost a year ago here. But, now that I think about it, the 0bama regime's Syria policy is NOT a mess.
If you look at it from 0bama's perspective, all of the deaths (many Christians), instability on Israel's border(s), the Persians getting a foothold, Hezbollah's intervention, and I could go on, are all good.
Think about it, what better way to pressure Israel (read destabilize), kill Christians, poke Ivan with a stick, make friends with the muslim brotherhood, al-queda, the arabs in general, hasten the caliphate, and get the myriad of his scandals off the front page.
No, it's not a mess, it is going according to plan.
0bama is an enemy of the state.

You miss the large point. While an Amerocentric view is laudable, the Syrian war is not American and is being prosecuted by others.
We do not have a leadership position.
With regard to Syria, Obama’s action or inaction is not really a big issue outside our boundries.

From the article:
If the administration really is sending weapons then this constitutes a major policy shift. Youd think Obama might want to announce that policy himself since it was his red line Assad crossedor if not the president then at least the national security advisor or some other senior official responsible for policy decisions. Instead, its handed off to a deputy in charge of strategic communications who either cannot or will not communicate what the policy iswhich, depending on whether or not Obama has decided to arm the rebels, may or may not have been leaked to the press by anonymous sources, presumably sources at least as reliable as those who told McCain the president was arming the rebels, until a more reliable source told McCain that the president has not made that decision.
That, in a nutshell, is a mess. I wonder if the Limbaugh Theorem fits into any of this?

I think you are missing the larger point.
We're just going to have to agree to disagree on this one as to which point is larger.
We do not have a leadership position.
"Our" leadership is actively aiding forces of ultimate evil in their goal of destroying not just America, but all of Christendom and western civilization.
With regard to Syria, Obamas action or inaction is not really a big issue outside our boundries.
Unless you happen to think the continued existence of a free civilization on earth is a big deal.

You seem to continue to believe the sky is falling when it is not.
While there are those intent on conquering the world, they are a very small minority and lack the resources for making it happen.
Think Dubai....... the interest in business and money trumps zealotry

Obama will do it and say he didn’t do it. Then when he is caught he will blame it on some flunkie, say it wasn’t him but the program will keep going.

I hope there is no Korea flare-up, Obama would end up sending weapons to the fat man in Pyongyang if he promised to be nicer.
