We understand your ire and refusal to address this issue. We promise to stop blaming you and calling you names, we know that all would be well in this country today had we (or whoever was in power at the time) secured our borders in the mid-80’s like we promised.
The nature of our government is the re-election of new people through the years. What one politician promised many years ago means nothing to a politician now serving.
We know this and we apologize to all the American people who we’ve accused of everything to jingoism to outright discrimination and hatred.
We will be instituting Town Halls across the country to hear your concerns, we are forming an independent commission to study the problem and return with suggestions, we are setting up web sites for your input.
As you know, we will NOT grand amnesty to anyone until our borders are secured, we heard your message, we get it.
Again, our regrets for casting aspersions to you folks who carry this country on your backs. We beg you to return to work, stop the work outages. We want you back and we know so very well that you law-abiding citizens work as hard as any lettuce-picker and we regret our assaults on your sincerity.
