Picturing these girls twenty years from now, as they come to grips with the fact that they were used as political props by their parents and the then president. Ten bucks says one stays an LGBT true believer while the other cuts loose and goes the other way.

Picturing these girls twenty years from now ...

I picture them in their mid teens when they ask about their father(s) - plural because it is evident that they are fraternal twins. I saw a similar scenario played out on Good Morning America a while back, when a 16 y/o girl was invited onto the program to "meet" (via cable connection), her "dad" (whose semen, from a sperm bank, enabled her mom to become pregnant). It is not only normal but quite natural for children to want to learn more about both of their parents. The girl was excited to finally meet her "dad". When he appeared on the screen, along with his wife and two boys, she blushed. Her questions gushed forth ... did he have big feet? 'Yes!' ... that explained her challenge in finding shoes. After addressing her other questions, the GMA hostette asked "do you have any other children from the sperm bank?". He replied: "Yes! From what I understand, there are close to 100 and I hope they don't all come looking for me".

The expression on the young girl's face went from a broad smile to a grimace as the realization of that statement struck home. The aspiration of being "Daddy's little girl" went up in a puff of smoke. Her total demeanor changed, right before our eyes.

I have never forgotten that program and the damage it inflicted on an innocent young girl. This is where our contemporary society that perceives itself as "progressive" has drifted. Shame on us!
