President Obama told attendees at an LGBT Pride Month celebration that the U.S. needs to get marriage equality "done now," but that he believed the nation had reached a "turning point" on gay rights. "We´re not going to have to wait that long," Obama said. "From Minnesota to Maryland, from the U.S. Senate to the NBA, it´s clear we´ve reached a turning point." The president said that progress could be traced "from the courage of those who stood up." "Eventually America gets it right. That doesn´t mean we can be patient," Obama said.

There should be NO LAWS on the state or federal books which are based on sexual relationships between it’s citizens. The government has no business being there.
Its getting pretty tiring, so much so that most of the gays I happen to know, think that the whole mess should just go away.
Politics is about the distribution and exercise of power in society, and sexuality is so inflamatory and personal to each citizen, that it has no basis for establishing power in any person or group as a foundation, all of which is entirely dysfunctional to society in general, in the areas of health, law, administration of law, military and government. We are a nation now known for who we F—K and who we do not F—K. Oh how we have fallen! As a people we have allowed ourselves to be defined solely by who we happen to have sexual relations with.
Gay legislation makes a mockery of the fundamental freedoms we should all enjoy as a people. No good ends will ever come from any of it.
