I think I’d prepare for Russia to one-up the US on this. They could bring in enough air defense to really knock the US back a step or two.
While I really hope the Putins stay out, their air defense while good has been exposed several times by the guys from Whiteman AFB. While it was the IAF that took out the Syrian nuke program, the air defenses fell to a visitor from Missouri.
