I posted over on your Black Forest thread as well...but I have to ask for some local “background” on the fire and area.

My daughter, son in law and grandbaby, relocated to Castle Rock, CO for his job. She texts me a few times a day, and has been noting the smoke a d haze (yesterday they added ash) and denser smoke to her comments. She is “miles away” from the fire; and she explained how her area is Palmer Pass—and they are a “wet” area and that other than smell and haze “no threat” from the fire. In pray she is correct, but I also wonder (this being their first experience w/wild fires) that they are NOT fully aware.

Any input from any local CO would be greatly appreciated! As I haven’t hear from her today:(
