A couple of the old punk performers changed their tunes, too. (No pun intended.) Henry Rollins of Black Flag became some sort of homosexual “rights” activist. Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys went from hardcore libertarian (see the song “California Uber Alles”) to a Green Party lib wimp.

Punk Rock died when Green Day inflicted their first album on the rest of us.
