Sorry! In the main post “principle” should be principal. One simply cannot edit one’s own material. Sigh!

Even if he withdrew his threat in the face of a lawsuit, they school district still needs to get rid of the principal.

I used to oversee the Academy nominations for a congressman. While we could nominate anyone, they still had to be approved by the Academy. Had one get into trouble with the law just before plebe summer and the Naval Academy rejected him. We were told to submit our second choice.

What the hell does this action have to with Liberty?
I was in the Navy 26 years, the mention or belief of God never bothered me.

"So, you thought you could say whatever you pleased, is that it? You thought you could just get up on MY stage in MY school and make a fool out of me, did you? You little p!ssant! Well, let me tell you what I can do. I can write a letter right this second that will make it so you never get to Annapolis! How do you like that? You want to be an officer in the Navy? I'm 'this close' to squashing that BS right now, mister! I think somebody forgot who is in charge around here. I think somebody messed with the wrong man, didn't he? I think somebody owes me an apology, don't you?"

Perhaps in years past this “principle teacher” would have been pulled out the school by the scruff of his neck, tarred, feathered, and run out on a rail by a band of concerned citizens who were acutely aware of the danger posed by such a miscreant.
