It’s not just you, but it’s more than that. Like the Stone age, and the Bronze age, we have our own ‘age’ going. It’s the age of ‘Payback’ for transgressions real and imagined. Generations of minorities now believe strongly that any lack of socioeconomic or personal success in life is attributable to traditional American culture and the ‘privileged’ in our society. Immigrants from Mexico and other Latin countries are coming here not to melt into a culture they love, but to get their ‘just due’ from the country that they see as responsible for suppressing the success of their own countries. Immigrants from fervent Islamic countries include those who come here with hatred for our ‘Western’ ways. How could this ever have ended well?

At the very least, on the dem side of the aisle. Between Cummings and Hank Johnson ("...will Guam tip over"). they've given us some pretty stunning stuff!
They just fail to recognize their leader continued for years sending out calls disguised as speeches attacking groups and individuals he despised. Put this in perspective, you work for a company and the head person waks around the work place telling everyone within ear shot they need to get a certain contract with the city or the company is toast. When the city election comes up, just whom do you think the employees are going to support, the candidate who prefers their firm or the one one who prefers someother. Ya see, he never once told them whom to vote for or bought their vote, directly, he just blew his dog whistle.
For that Dem the victim isn’t the Conservatives targeted by the IRS but its the IRS who are the victim.
Isn’t democracy grand? Cummings is a prime example of why the wise Founders never intended America to be a democracy but a representative republic.
