They will not be getting another dime of my money or support.
The very idea that an Eagle Scout could be an openly practicing homo makes me sick to my stomach. It is the antithesis of the scout oath.
The Boy Scout Oath:Those words mean something, and you cannot change them simply because people with literally queer notions come along and demand it.
On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country,
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake and morally straight.
You cannot do your duty to God, or be morally straight, by accepting openly gay/homo behavior as a part of scouting.
My Son pulled himself out of Scouts for that very reason. It is sad he really enjoyed it, but his moral values no longer line up with Scouts. I am proud of him for taking a stand, he told his scout master why he was done. We are waiting for the 'hate calls', and nasty emails, from the liberal members of the troop.
