I remember reading back then how Big Media would see Iraqis burying IED’s and then would set up and film our boys and girls riding over them.
Then they would cite some journolist “hero” who had told them never to lose their “objectivity” and thus they were doing their sacred duty to let American soldiers be killed for the good of the story.
Far cry from the WW II journalists. Exactly why I strongly oppose any military assets spent to ensure their safety.
the reporters should not be allowed over there without their agreement that they are working for our side.
