Consider for a moment the irrationality of the new policy: a 17-year-old lifelong scout who is avowedly gay and also a youth leader, would, on his 18th birthday, be required to cease and desist being a Scout leader.

On the day the new membership policy passed, the first radio report I heard at first described the policy, then immediately interviewed someone who decried how unfair it was that a gay scout could participate until age 18, then be forced out and not be allowed to be an adult leader.

This was all either a ruse designed to bring about a court ruling that the new policy is unconstitutional, or the so-called national leaders are some of the most clueless dumbasses anywhere to be found, unfit to 'lead' any organization.
