It’s “inconceivable” that President Obama was unaware that the IRS was targeting conservative groups, House Speaker John Boehner said today.
“It would be inconceivable in my operation that my staff would know it and I wouldn’t,” the Ohio Republican told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning America.”
“It just doesn’t pass the straight-face test. How could – how can your chief of staff – your general counsel know, and you not know?”
Obama has said that he first found out about the outcome of an inspector general audit when the report was released publicly, but his aides say they were informed that a report was forthcoming weeks earlier.
Boehner would not say whether he believes Cincinnati employees were directed by the White House.
“I don’t know where it was directed from,” Boehner said.

Yawn. He will huff and puff. And then support amnesty. He sees his future as House minority leader.
Even when Boehner makes a good observation it’s of little to no value.
- He won’t follow up, or take any action.
- He’s currently doing all he can with the immigration bill to be sure that his Democrat masters are viable in the 2014 elections.
Boehner is hurting the public almost as much as Obama.

Just happened I guess....in a pigs eye. House leader? This guy is nothing more than the guy who picks up after the circus parade has passed. They had soft balls tossed their way from the ATF gun fiasco, to Benghazi, to monitoring tel records of reporters, to the IRS targeting, to the latest NSA matter and they are too scared of their own shadow to call a spade a spade.
I think Boehner will retire. He will be 65 next year and is a heavy smoker. Boehner is raking in the bribes to pass amnesty. He will take the political bullet for amnesty and Cantor will probably be the next GOP House leader.

He has been hiding out during the IRS & amnesty debates. This appearance is about the NSA. Bonehead got marching orders from K Street to go out and support the NSA. He is little more than a high priced hooker at this point. Meet his price and he is available.
