Regardless of what some people believe... there are kids that are born this way. And... they are also born to conservative republicans... we have close family friends who have a gay adult son. Although he didn’t come out till much later, I figured out he was gay by the time he was nine.

In fact, I recall my husband thought it was awful that I shared this with him.

No one molested him, his parents are happily married.. he just happens to be gay. Is this an anomaly and defect? Of course... and we also have kids born with other disabilities in this country, and no one would ever posit that they should be ridiculed.

I’d really like to see a bit of christian humanity on these threads...

I was thinking of my one daughter - a tom boy when she was younger. But then going into High School she started wearing girl’s clothing rather than her older brother’s basketball shorts and T-shirts to school. That is pretty common I think with girl’s - so I wonder if it sometimes happens with boys too? Although I can’t say we encouraged her boyish attire, but realized we couldn’t force her to wear the nice clothes that she had.
