It is interesting that the left readily identifies this as a war (foot soldier); something that our side has been very slow in grasping. As such, they are ready to use any tactics and are ready to cause casualties.

That leftist attitude, of being at war with the status quo and traditional American culture, dates back through the riots and terrorism of the sixties, through the FDR years and even to the leftist labor riots of the 1800's.
Today it seems only conservatives have an understanding of the true natuure of the struggle and we get ridiculed in the press for our efforts.
