John Boehner said he expects an overhaul of immigration rules to become law by the end of the year, but that the Senate's version "doesn't go far enough" to secure the U.S. border with Mexico or enforce the proposed new system.

"I've got real concerns about the Senate bill, especially in the area of border security and internal enforcement of the system. I'm concerned that it doesn't go far enough."

Boehner added that reforming the nation's immigration system was his top legislative priority this year.

Boehner is a disaster.

Or, he's giving us ample warning to raise hell from under the din of all these scandals. Intended or not, it is fair warning.

Boner’s House Math:

200 Democrat Votes + 18 RINO Votes = AMNESTY

I wish Weiner was still in the house. Then you could have legislation called the Weiner-Boehner bill.

Congress will NEVER do anything that “goes far enough” to secure our borders. Fire the lot of them!

215 Republicans can vote against Amnesty and it will still pass the House with 200 Democrats and 18 RINOS.

Obama, McConnell, Reid, Pelosi and Rove want Amnesty passed by Labor Day and Boner will give them what they want.

RE :”Boehner added that reforming the nation's immigration system was his top legislative priority this year.”

Number #1?? By end of year?

I think that means the House had nothing else on their agenda this year. Did they repeal Obama-care again yet?

Dems are hoping to get 70 votes in the Senate on their Schumer-Rubio-McCain-Grahamnesty amnesty bill to force the House to pass it.

Haven’t heard anything from Boehner for weeks until it’s time for him to support Hussein.

Rubio has long been a legalize first, enforcement later person. We all now how enforcement later works.

So... since Rubio declared legalization comes BEFORE securing the border, does anyone with any operating brain cells actually believe we won’t be flooded with additional untold millions of illegals coming in for said legalization?

Good God, why don’t we just cede our Southwest to Mexico and be done with it?

Keep in mind that it would've only taken 17 or the HOR "conservatives" to oust him as speaker. The only conclusion that can be reached from that is that the conservative HOR reps are mostly fakes...they want to keep spouting the rhetoric that gets them elected, but know Boehner will stop anything conservative from happening.

Boehner also said Snowden is a traitor!

What country besides America would give citizenship, benefits and voting rights to hordes of equalling the numbers of a moderately sized nation?

This country is committing national suicide.

The 17th amendment was the National Suicide pill. Took 100 years to take full effect.

——”I’ve got real concerns about the Senate bill, especially in the area of border security and internal enforcement of the system. I’m concerned that it doesn’t go far enough.”-——

For the record, what seems to be a problem with those remarks?

It matters not what the new law says if it is not enforced. The problem developing is enforcing border security. That seems to be the sticking point.
