Wolves often kill for fun, and this is actually quite common.

Oh bullshit. Wolves may continue to kill after their hunger is gone...but it would be hard to establish that it was done for entertainment.

More likely just habit.

That said, most wolves are so never so full of good food that they are able to seek entertainment.

This is birthing season. There are children to feed.

Oh bullshit; they kill because that is what they do. Coyotes do the same thing. It is common for coyotes to kill dozens of sheep and not touch a single kill.

That is why it is always open season on wolves at my place.
