In a throwback to its darkest past, the German government recently decided to back an initiative which singles out Jewish-owned businesses and targets them for detrimental treatment. Joining 13 other European Union members, Berlin has reportedly agreed to support efforts aimed at applying special labels of origin to products manufactured by Jewish owned factories in Judea and Samaria. The goal is to harm the livelihood of Jewish businessmen and entrepreneurs as a way of undermining the settlement enterprise. Needless to say, goods made by Palestinian-run plants in the territories will not similarly be branded.

I don’t think Jim was commenting on the article content but the fact that the Nazi are back at it.
We either speak up or fight evil or it will surely succeed. In this life I mean. And if news of what the the misguided or satanic people are doing is censored so we can’t even try to respond to it then evils victory is assured for certain. I don’t like reading or hearing such distressing news but it is better than if my tender ears and feelings were protected by censorship of the news.

It’s a good mix, imho. You get some good German traits w’out being saddled w the worst ones. I did like having a one-hundred percent German grandmother, though. She was a real character. My pure German grandfather died before I got to know him.

Actually, I think you shouldn’t say that. That’s just playing into the same ideology we find abhorrent. i.e. that someone’s ancestry determines whether they are good or evil.

I can’t find this story in any other news source with this, including papers in Israel.
I’m as troubled by this as anyone else. But, please notice, it’s not just Germany. Germany is “Joining 13 other European Union members” in requiring this labeling. In other words, they are the last ones to get on board.
It’s not just the Germans. It’s all of Europe that’s gone off the rails. And not just in this one instance, either. The whole European left has gone berserk.
